Rota Nanny - Puerto Rico - ASAP

A lovely family in Puerto Rico is looking for a calm, easy-going and experienced Rota Nanny to join their household. The family have a 19-month-old boy and are expecting a new baby in November.

Overview

The toddler is in a good routine and eats well and generally sleeps well. He loves swimming and going to the beach as well as doing activities at home. Mum is hands-on, so the role will be a mixture of sole and shared charge.

A maternity nurse will support the family for the first four months after the baby’s arrival, with the nanny helping during her four-hour daily break. The role will then involve full nursery duties for both children, with the possibility of the toddler starting nursery in Spring 2027.

The family travel regularly, now taking approximately 3–4 month-long trips each year, and the nanny will be expected to travel with them. The rota will upscale to 2 weeks on/2 weeks off during periods of travel. 

Duties included but not limited to:

• Full nursery duties for both children
• Providing attentive care for a toddler and newborn
• Supporting routines, development and activities
• Working alongside Mum and the maternity nurse
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks
• Encouraging healthy eating and independent development
• Travelling with the family, including extended trips

Key criteria

• USA passport / US working rights essential
• Strong experience with both toddlers and infants
• Calm, easy-going and able to read the room
• Excellent swimmer with strong water-safety awareness
• Comfortable on boats
• Confident driver
• Spanish would be a bonus
• Happy to travel extensively
• Ideally based in Puerto Rico or relocation considered
