How to Hire Corporate Hospitality Staff

Introduction

We will always have an initial phone conversation with you to get a clear understanding of:

  • What help you are looking for
  • The working hours and days required
  • They type of person you feel will best suit your firm
  • The skill-set you require from the candidate(s)
  • Any other details that will help tailor our search
  • We will also be able to advise you on rates of pay and salaries

Terms of Business

Following this we’ll:

  • Send you a copy of our terms of business outlining our charges and the way we work. Any questions, your consultant will be able to help
  • Commence the candidate search once you have returned a signed copy of the terms of business to your consultant
  • In the instance of a permanent position, we will send you a copy of the role description we have devised for you, which you can amend if you feel we have missed anything

Candidate Shortlist

  • We will reach out to the candidates registered with us to draw up a shortlist of suitable options for you
  • We will subsequently send you the shortlisted candidate’s CV’s (for permanent placements)
  • Please do give us as much feedback as possible regarding the candidates we send you – this will help us to tailor your search further

Interview / Trial

  • Temporary Roles – For temporary roles we recommend that you book the shortlisted candidate(s) on a one-off trial shift, and if you like the candidate then you will be able to book them on a more regular ongoing basis
  • Permanent Roles – Once you have decided you would like to interview and/or progress any of the permanent candidates to trial we will arrange this for you
  • We will send a confirmation email to both yourself and the candidate confirming the time, location and the rate of pay
  • We can of course also help with last-minute emergency bookings

Subsequent Bookings

Temporary Roles – You will be able to continue to book your preferred candidate(s) through Signature Staff following a successful initial shift

Permanent Roles – Following a successful paid trial you are welcome to draft an offer of employment to the candidate. We can assist you with this

After Care & Support

Temporary Roles – once your chosen candidate(s) have started work, your consultant will check in with you regularly to make repeat bookings and also to establish whether there is any constructive client feedback which Signature Staff can relay back to candidate(s)

Permanent Roles – once your chosen candidate has started work, your consultant will check in with you from time to time in the first few months. After this period we’re always on hand to answer any questions, provide advice and generally offer support and guidance as required
