How to Find a Corporate Hospitality Job

01

Introduction

After the initial introduction, we’ll book you in for a face-to-face interview with one of our consultants at our central London office. For the interview we’ll need the following:

  • Completed candidate registration form (we’ll share this prior to the interview)
  • Passport and visa (if applicable)
  • Any relevant certificates you might hold (Allergens, Health & Hygiene etc)
  • DBS or your home country police-check
02

Face-to-face Interview with Signature

We feel a face-to-face meeting is important – it helps us to build an understanding of you so that we can match you with the right corporate client and also enables you to get to know us.

During the interview we’ll go through your candidate registration form, making sure we have a thorough understanding of your experience, qualifications and expectations.

We will also discuss any current roles we have which may appeal to you.

03

Post Interview Onboarding

The Signature team will undertake the following:

  • Check your references – we try and collate as many as we can, but as long as we have at least two up to date references checked we can submit you for roles
  • For temporary agency workers, we request you agree to our agency terms of business and provide us with your bank details (for payments etc.)

Interview / Trial Shift

Temporary Roles – For temporary roles we recommend that you go to a corporate client on a one-off trial shift initially, and if you like the like the role, then we will be able to put you forward with that client on a more regular ongoing basis.

Permanent Roles – Should the corporate client decide they would like to interview and/or progress your application to a trial we will arrange this for you.

We will send a confirmation email to both yourself and the client confirming the time, location (if necessary) and rate of pay.

After your interview or trial, please do get in touch with your consultant with feedback as soon as you can

Your consultant will also reach out to the client for comment and feed this back to you as soon as possible

05

Subsequent Bookings

Temporary Roles – Following a successful initial trial shift you will be offered the opportunity to  book multiple shifts with that particular corporate client

Permanent Roles – Following a successful paid trial you will be sent a draft offer of employment. Your consultant can assist with reviewing this document, and help prepare you for the commencement of the role, should you wish to accept the offer

06

After Care & Support

Temporary Roles – Once you have started work for a corporate client, your consultant will check in with you regularly to make repeat bookings and also to establish whether there is any constructive client feedback which can be relayed to you.

Permanent Roles – Once you have started your permanent role, your consultant will check in with you from time to time in the first few months. After this period we’re always on hand to answer any questions, provide advice and generally offer support and guidance as required.

Please don’t hesitate to call your consultant and have a chat.
