Hire a Corporate Kitchen Porter

Typically considered an entry-level catering role, the Signature Staff corporate kitchen porter is indispensable in a working kitchen.

A successful corporate kitchen porter will ensure that your kitchen is orderly, that it is kept clean and tidy at all times, no matter how busy the chefs are.

Typical duties would include; keeping on top of all cleaning requirements; sanitising all food preparation areas and workstations; washing up; helping unload and sort food deliveries; organising the stock room; ensuring a food rota is adhered to and basic food prep.

Availability

Permanent corporate kitchen porters will typically work 40 hours per week.

Temporary corporate kitchen porters will work on an ad hoc basis up to 8 hours per day.

Salary Expectation

A temporary kitchen porter would be charged to the client at a fixed hourly rate.

A permanent corporate waiter / waitress could command a salary of between £20,000 – £24,000 depending on experience.
