A domestic couple are two people working as a team within a household.
Domestic couples are available to satisfy your domestic service requirements, whether it be a housekeeper & butler, housekeeper & nanny, and gardener & cook, a domestic couple can be a wonderful addition to your household.
They generally stay in long-term posts, and they would normally expect separate accommodation to be provided.
Some domestic couples may have children or pets who will accompany them, and this obviously should be considered and discussed before employing them.
Availability A domestic couple will normally work Monday to Friday 10-12 hours per day.
Salary expectations A domestic couple would be provided accommodation and would typically each earn between £30,600 – £38,700 gross per annum.
Latest Candidates
Only candidates who are working with children must hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
This fully incorporates all the necessary modules and is valid for 3 years after which time you will need to repeat the 2 day course.
Your Signature Staff consultant can provide a draft contract of employment for you should you require this.
The consultant will also advise you as to the standard terms currently prevailing in the market at that particular point in time.
Most countries have differing tax legislation. Your Signature Staff consultant will advise you on this if you apply for an overseas position.
Equivalently your holiday entitlements will differ too, and will be set-out in your employment contract.
