A family expecting their first baby is looking for two rota maternity nurses.
Highlights:
- Dates Required: Middle of December 2026 x 8 – 10 weeks
- Working Hours: 24/7, 1 week on, 1 week off
- Rate: DOE (working and standby rate)
- Location: Central London
Overview:
Mum will be having a C-section in the middle of December and would like the first maternity nurse to start when the baby is 1 week old.
She hopes to breastfeed and is also open to bottle-feeding expressed breast milk or formula.
As Mum and Dad are first-time parents, they are looking for someone who can offer knowledge and support during this exciting time in their lives.
While on duty, you will be required to share the nursery with the baby. There will be a separate room for break times.
The rota pattern is 1 week on, 1 week off. You may be required to cover additional days if the other maternity nurse is ill or unable to work.
The ideal candidate is to be discreet, organised and happy to work as part of a team.
Duties include but not limited to:
- 24 hour care of the baby
- Sterilising equipment
- Supporting feeding
- Routine establishment
- Providing respite and support
- Nursery duties related to the baby
