A busy family in Chelsea are looking for a proactive part time housekeeper to assist with the running of their home.
Highlights:
- Start: ASAP
- Location: Chelsea, London
- Working hours: Approximately 12 hours a week, across Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, mornings preferred.
- Salary: £23-£25 gross per hour, self-employed preferred
Overview:
The family have four school-aged children and our looking for an organised housekeeper to join their busy household team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on maintaining the home to a high standard and keeping on top of all housekeeping responsibilities.
There will be two nannies within the household, so excellent communication and the ability to work well as part of a team will be important. Our client is looking for someone who is able to work independently and who can manage their time well with high attention to detail.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Traditional housekeeping duties throughout the 3-storey home, such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Family laundry, washing and ironing including bed linens
- Keeping the home tidy and organised
- Tidying away children’s toys
- Cleaning and maintaining the fridge, checking dates on items
- Keeping on top of household cleaning supplies
- Ordering cleaning products when required
- Working collaboratively alongside the household team
Key criteria:
- At least 3 years + experience in a similar role in a Private Household
- Excellent attention to detail
- A strong team player
