Our client is seeking an experienced Live-In Housekeeper / Cook to join a fully staffed private household in Swiss Cottage.

- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break; Saturday, 10:30am–3:30pm
- Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 gross per annum
Overview
The home has an established team including a Private Chef, House Manager, Driver and additional Housekeepers, so the successful candidate will need to work collaboratively and integrate seamlessly into the household.
The role is split evenly between housekeeping and cooking responsibilities. The candidate will support the housekeeping team while taking responsibility for preparing breakfast each day. Assistance with lunch and dinner preparation may also be required, and when the Chef is away, the candidate will be expected to confidently take over lunch and supper.
The ideal candidate will be calm, practical and hardworking, with a genuine willingness to muck in wherever needed and contribute to the smooth running of the home.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing breakfast daily
- Assisting the Chef with lunch and dinner preparation
- Taking responsibility for lunch and dinner when the Chef is away
- General housekeeping and cleaning
- Laundry and household upkeep
- Maintaining the home to an exceptionally high standard
- Supporting the wider household team as required
- Working collaboratively with the existing household staff
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the home

Key Criteria
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar private household role, with strong housekeeping and cooking skills
