- Working Hours: Saturday, Sunday, 9am–8:30pm and and Monday 10am to 8.30pm with potential Saturday night babysitting in addition
- Salary: £36,600 – £41,600 gross per annum
Overview
A warm and welcoming family with three school-aged children, based in High Street Kensington, is seeking an experienced Weekend Housekeeper / Cook to join their established household team.
You will be required to help with family cooking, prepping for the Monday breakfast (setting the table etc before you leave on Sunday) , some housekeeping duties to ensure the house stays neat and tidy .
You will be working alongside another housekeeper on Saturday and Monday, but will be on your own on Sunday.
The family are looking for someone organised, flexible and discreet, who enjoys working as part of a professional household team and is happy to muck in wherever required.
There may also be an opportunity to provide babysitting on Saturday evenings. Accommodation will be provided on Saturday night when babysitting is required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing fresh, family-style meals for the family
- Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
- Assisting with general housekeeping, laundry and ironing as required
- Assisting with household organisation and maintaining high presentation standards
- Supporting with the children when required
- Providing Saturday evening babysitting when needed
- Working flexibly and assisting wherever required to support the smooth running of the household
Key Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper / Cook role within a private household
- Confident family-style cook with strong housekeeping skills
- Organised, flexible and discreet, with a team-oriented approach and willingness to muck in
