Overview
The family are looking for someone experienced with a child-led and passionate about supporting a child’s development, independence and creativity. They follow a Montessori-adjacent parenting style and are introducing BLW and encouraging independent play.
This is a shared-charge role working closely with Mum. She likes to put baby down for naps if she can, likewise doing the cooking, but is happy for the nanny to do this too.
They’d like the nanny to take charge on child related admin such as sorting clothes, booking classes and packing for any family travel.
No travel is required.
They family has a friendly cockapoo.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Providing attentive, child-led care
- Supporting baby’s development, milestones and independence
- Encouraging independent play and creativity
- Advising on developmental stages, classes and activities
- Planning and arranging future classes
- Child-related administration
- Organising baby’s clothes and belongings
- Helping with weaning and meal preparation
