A lovely family is looking for a temporary nanny to join a household and care for 18-month-old twin girls.
Highlights:
- Dates Required:01/11/2026 – 31/12/2026
- Location: Near Grantham
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (with the possibility of an earlier finish on Fridays)
- Rate: £220 – £250 gross per 12 hour day
Overview
The role is primarily for November and December 2026, with the possibility of an additional short booking from 1st–6th October.
The twins are in an established routine, sleep well and are excellent eaters. Mum is a hands-on solo parent who works full time. Although she works in the office, she remains very involved in the girls’ lives.
The ideal candidate is to have experience working with hands on parents who is comfortable working in the countryside.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Providing high-quality care for twin toddlers in a mixture of sole and shared-charge settings
- Maintaining the children’s established routines, including meals, naps and developmental activities
- Taking the children to local playgroups, classes and outings
- Encouraging outdoor play and plenty of fresh air
- Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the children in line with the family’s approach to home-cooked food
- Nursery duties, including children’s laundry and keeping bedrooms and play areas clean and organised
- Supporting the children’s development through engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Working collaboratively with Mum while respecting her role as the primary parent
- Assisting with occasional travel to the family’s London home if required

Key Criteria
- Previous professional experience caring for babies or young toddlers, ideally twins
- Experience working in a countryside household is essential
- Driver required (automatic car provided)
- Confident working in both sole and shared-charge roles
- Proactive, organised and experienced in maintaining established routines
- Strong understanding of respectful collaboration with hands-on parents
- Warm, professional and reliable with excellent communication skills
