Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny – Notting Hill – ASAP Start

A busy family with four children are seeking a dedicated live-in Housekeeper/Nanny.

• Working Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 7am start – 8pm finish with a 2-hour lunch break
• Salary: £50,000 + gross per annum

Overview

This role is primarily focused on housekeeping, with additional childcare support when required.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, adaptable and proactive, with excellent housekeeping skills and the ability to provide an extra pair of hands to support the family’s existing childcare arrangements.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a family household and can adapt as the children grow and their needs naturally change over time.

The family have four children, with the eldest moving to boarding school for school in September and spending less time at home. The younger children remain at home, with childcare support already in place.

The family currently employs a Housekeeper/Cook who will increasingly focus on cooking and laundry, while the new Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny will primarily focus on housekeeping, household presentation and supporting childcare when required.

Duties included but not limited to

• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
• Traditional housekeeping duties such as hoovering, mopping, dusting.
• Running errands and managing household stock
• Packing and unpacking when required
• Supporting with laundry, high end garment care and bed linens
• Supporting the full-time nanny with children’s morning and evening routines such as school pickups and drop offs

• Proven longevity as a Housekeeper/Nanny within a private household
• Comfortable working as part of a wider household team
• Experience with busy family homes and changing routines
• Happy to work around dogs
