We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper/Cook to join a family with two school-aged children to assist with household management and occasional childcare.

- Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 gross per annum
Overview
This role combines traditional housekeeping with light childcare for a 3- and 5-year-old. The household values a well-maintained and organised home.
The children attend school full-time, and Mum and Dad generally take care of the children, but may require you to step in from time to time to do the odd school run (20 minute walk) or play with the children.
The family have a house in the countryside which they visit most weekends, you may be required to accompany the children by train on a Friday afternoon, but you will return to London the same day.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Family style cooking for breakfast, light lunches, and suppers
- Setting and clearing the table for family meals, loading/unloading dishwasher
- Grocery shopping and kitchen management
- Full household laundry, including bed linen changes
- Cleaning the 5 bedroom house over 5 floors
- Household organisation and oversight of maintenance people
- Occasional school runs/ afternoon children
- Assisting with occasional dinner parties and babysitting by agreement
