We are on the hunt for a switched on and organised domestic couple to assist with our client’s gorgeous home in West Sussex.
The family have 4 children, therefore the ideal couple will be good with confident with children and have a muck-in attitude to assist in all areas of the home.
Duties include:
Housekeeping:
- Traditional housekeeping such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, organising cupboards, cleaning the fridge, polishing, wiping down surfaces
- Deep cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Basic childcare
- Basic meal preparation and batch cooking for dinner
Gardening/Maintenance:
- Dealing with contractors and carrying out basic maintenance of the house
- Cooking a healthy, family-style meal
- Driving the children to school occasionally
- Gardening duties, such as mowing the lawn, fence maintenance, strimming, hedge trimming
- Handyman duties and household maintenance
- Dealing with contractors
- Pet care (one small dog)
The ideal couple will be a strong team and be capable of keeping the household organised, tidy and running smoothly despite it being a busy household. You must have a positive attitude, be flexible and want to become an extension of the family.
The accommodation provided is a separate 3 bed farmhouse which is a 5-minute walk away from the main household. You must be able to drive, however an automatic car is provided.
The days/hours of the role are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5/6pm. Odd babysitting in the evening and over the weekend may be required.

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 gross per annum (DOE)
