Housekeeper/Cook - Based Near Paddington- ASAP start

We are seeking an experienced and reliable housekeeper/cook to support an elderly couple in the Paddington area.

• Location: Paddington, London
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum

Overview

This role involves maintaining a clean, well-organised home and preparing daily meals, with a particular emphasis on Chinese cuisine. In addition, the successful candidate will help keep the couple engaged and active in their day-to-day life.

The role will focus on maintaining their comfortable 4-bedroom, 3-storey home to a high standard.
This is a hands-on position requiring a strong work ethic, excellent cooking skills, and attention to detail.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Complete cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the property across three floors
• Planning and preparing daily meals for the couple, with a focus on Chinese dishes
• Ensuring the household runs smoothly and remains well-presented

Key Criteria

• Proven ability to cook to a high standard, ideally with Chinese cuisine expertise
• Strong cleaning and housekeeping skills
• Discreet, organised, and proactive in managing household tasks
• Knowledge of Mandarin/ Cantonese a bonus
