A warm, welcoming family with two young children (3 and 1) who are searching for a dedicated full time housekeeper/nanny to become a valued member of their household team.

- Salary: £40,000- 45,000 gross per annum
Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, high attention to detail and have a muck-in, positive attitude. You will be required to arrange your day and oversee all housekeeping duties, including taking care of all the family laundry (no ironing), loading dishwashers and keeping things tidy.
From time to time you will be required to assist the nanny with the children. The childcare takes priority over the housekeeping and the parents prefer someone who is able to be a support to the nanny when dealing with the children. One of the children has additional needs and requires regular therapy sessions, so you would be required to look after the other child at these times whilst the nanny and child are doing exercises.
You will also be required to batch cook meals, mostly for the children, but from time to time the parents may enjoy some of the food too.
This is a busy role, but the family are looking for someone with a team player approach, who is able to keep the household running smoothly whilst being supportive of the nanny.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Cleaning and family laundry
- Changing bed linens
- Assisting the nanny with childcare as needed
- Meal prep and batch cooking the children’s meals, occasionally prepping and cooking the parents’ meals too
- Ensuring the home remains tidy and organised
- Running errands, such as going to the post office and buying groceries
- Occasional pet care
Key criteria
- UK Drivers licence would be preferable but not essential
- Confident cook
