Front of House Manager Required at Skibo Castle, Scottish Highlands – ASAP Start

We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager with previous members’ club experience to manage the Front of House Team at Skibo Castle.

• Working hours: 5 days a week (over 7 days), 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
• Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 gross per annum DOE

Overview:

The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle, is a boutique and highly bespoke private members’ club with longstanding members, defined by personalisation, and an exceptional standard of excellence.

We are seeking an individual who naturally understands and upholds these high standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in front-of-house concierge, five-star hotels, or a comparable private members’ club environment. Strong attention to detail, a refined approach suited to a luxury setting, and the ability to lead with confidence and composure is expected in this role.

The department currently consists of 12 day team members and 8-night staff including two Assistant Front of House Managers, ensuring seamless 24-hour coverage. In this position, the successful candidate will oversee the team, working closely with the Head of Operations to maintain a consistently polished and attentive service culture.

The role operates on a rolling shift pattern, with responsibility for managing one’s schedule in line with the needs of the club and its members.

Duties included but not limited:

• Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring a seamless, discreet, and personalised member and guest experience
• Lead and manage the team, maintaining exceptional five-star service standards and attention to detail
• Manage guest and member relations, handling requests and concerns with professionalism and discretion
• Coordinate with relevant departments to deliver a cohesive service
• Oversee rota planning and ensure effective 24-hour staffing coverage
• Support Assistant Managers and night teams to maintain consistency across all shifts
• Maintain presentation standards across all front-facing areas

Key criteria:

• Proven longevity in front-of-house concierge, five-star hotels, or a comparable private members’ club environment
• Drivers licence
• UK working rights essential (no work visa can be provided)
