Live-Out Housekeeper required in Knightsbridge, ASAP Start

Our clients are looking for a confident live-out housekeeper to join their private household team in Knightsbridge.

• Working Hours: 5 days on / 2 days off, flexible with the days, 9:00am–5:00pm
• Salary: £55,000 + gross per annum

Overview

Working alongside a second live-in Housekeeper, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the five-bedroom home to an exceptional standard, with shared responsibility for cooking, laundry and general housekeeping.

The family enjoy healthy, family style meals, the ideal candidate will be responsible for buying fresh produce from the local butchers and green groceries.

There is no childcare in this role, there is a nanny who cares for the school age child. However, the ability to work well in a team alongside the nanny and housekeeper is essential.  

Duties included but not limited to:

• Traditional housekeeping duties such as, hoovering, dusting, mopping throughout the home
• Laundry, ironing and specialist care of cashmere and delicate garments
• Changing and maintaining bed linens
• Preparing breakfast, lunch and supper, sharing cooking responsibilities with the Live-in Housekeeper
• Running errands, such as trips to the dry cleaners
• Grocery shopping, including sourcing fresh produce, meat and quality ingredients
• Maintaining the home to an immaculate standard
• Working closely with the nanny and second Housekeeper

Key Criteria

• At least 3 years + experience in a similar role in a UHNW private household
• Experienced with cashmere and delicate garments
• Confident cook
