Dog-Friendly Part-time Housekeeper required near Queens Park – ASAP Start

A friendly family based near Queens Park are looking for an active and dog friendly part time housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their home.

• Working Hours: 30 hours per week, flexible across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or 5 mornings/afternoons per week
• Salary: £35,000 + gross per annum

Overview

An important aspect of this role is the walking of the families two very friendly dogs, the ideal candidate should enjoy being active as they require an hour long walk each day.

This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards and enjoys working independently. The family are looking for a candidate with excellent attention to detail who will take initiative and always keep the home spotless.

The family live in a four-bedroom, two-storey home. The principals live at the property full-time, with their two children returning from university during the holidays.

Duties included but not limited to:

• General housekeeping duties
• Daily vacuuming of the kitchen and sitting room due to dog hair
• Laundry and light ironing
• Keeping household supplies well stocked
• Running local errands, including trips to the shops and pharmacy
• Walking the two family dogs for at least one hour each day
• Maintaining exceptionally high cleaning standards throughout the home
• Taking initiative to ensure the household runs smoothly

Key Criteria

• Previous housekeeping experience within a private household
• Dog lover and happy to walk two friendly dogs daily
• Proactive and able to use initiative
