Our client is searching for an experienced Butler. This is a busy household that requires professionalism and discretion.

- Location: Central London
- Working Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 days on, 2 days off, rota. Flexibility essential
- Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 gross per annum
Overview
This role requires a polished, discreet, and service-driven individual who thrives in a high-profile environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional standards.
Working alongside an established team, you will help deliver seamless service to the principal, family members, and VIP guests.
Impeccable presentation, attention to detail, and strong food and beverage service skills required. The ideal candidate will be calm and professional. Working well within the team is essential.
Duties include but not limited to
- Formal and informal food and beverage service
- Setting up and servicing dinners, receptions, and events
- Maintaining front-of-house areas to impeccable standards
- Guest welcome and hospitality
- Table setting and event preparation
- Silver, china, glassware, and service equipment care
- Assisting with wardrobe care, pressing, and packing when required
- Supporting the wider household team with daily operations
- Running errands and assisting with household requests
- Occasional care of the household dog
Key Criteria
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a private household, embassy, luxury hotel, members’ club, or similar environment
- C2 level English
