Live-Out Housekeeper Required in Knightsbridge – ASAP Start

Our client is looking for a live-out Housekeeper to assist with the daily running of their secondary residence in Knightsbridge.

• Working hours: 12 hours per week when the family are not in residence, 40 hours per week when the family are in residence.
• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 gross per annum

Overview:

We are seeking a Housekeeper who can fully dedicate their time to this client, you will be employed on a permanent fixed salary with the understanding that you will be fully available for the principal when they are in residence. The family travel at short notice and spend roughly a third of the year in the UK.  When the principals are in residence, the role will require full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week), whilst when not in residence, the schedule will reduce to 12 hours across 2 days per week.  

The position will be offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with a guaranteed monthly salary, providing you with consistency and security regardless of the principals’ schedule.

This is a traditional housekeeping position caring for a 2 bedroomed apartment, and the ideal candidate will understand the discretion and proactivity required in a private household.

Duties included but not limited too:

• Daily cleaning of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms and sitting rooms.
• Laundry and bed linens.
• Running errands, such as dry-cleaning runs or grocery shopping.
•  Keeping on top of household stock.
• Accepting parcels.
• Liaising with contractors.
