Domestic Couple Required Near Guildford, Surrey - ASAP Start

Our client is searching for a professional, reliable and proactive Domestic Couple to join their large family estate in Surrey.

• Location: Near Guilford, Surrey
• Working Hours: 5-day week, Wednesday and Thursday’s off. Weekend work and flexibility required.
• Salary: £80,000+ gross per annum

Overview
The property consists of a 7-bedroom main house, a separate 5-bedroom residence, an indoor pool, gym, extensive formal gardens, woodland, and kitchen garden.

The couple will work collaboratively with other estate staff, including a Chef, Estate Manager, and additional team members during the busy shooting season. 

Pet care and a love for animals is essential. You will be feeding the dogs, pigs, and chickens. Occasional dog walking will be necessary.

The principals and their family are part resident, spending weekends and holidays at the estate. They also host extensive shooting weekends during the shooting season. 

Duties included but not limited to:

Housekeeping duties:

• Full housekeeping duties to a high standard for both properties
• Care of antiques, artwork, fine furnishings, and fabrics
• Wardrobe management, packing and unpacking, and shoe care
• Managing household supplies and ensuring the home is well stocked
• Flower care and plant maintenance throughout the property
• Preparation of light, healthy family meals in the absence of the Chef, using fresh garden produce

Houseman duties:

• Formal and informal table laying and service
• Care and cleaning of silver, china, and glassware
• Assisting with household cleaning, window care, and the upkeep of shared spaces including the gym and pool area
• Managing outdoor furniture, cushions, and equipment
• General property and grounds maintenance, including assisting the gardening team
• Occasional Butler duties with silver service
