Domestic Couple Required Near Marlborough, Wiltshire – April Start

We are looking for a dedicated and dog loving Domestic Couple to join a young family in their beautiful home in Wiltshire.

Highlights:

• Start: April 2026
• Location: Near Marlborough, Wiltshire. Occasional weekends in the London home
• Working hours: 40 hours per week, every weekend. 2 days off midweek
• Salary: £70,000 gross per annum

Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking domestic couple to join a young family with children aged 3 and 7, who spend their weekends at their 6-bedroom home in Wiltshire. During the school term times, the family may decide to stay in their London home. On such weekends, you will be expected to work from their London residence instead. A guest bedroom in the basement will be made available should an overnight stay be necessary.

It is essential for this role that you genuinely love dogs, as the family dog occasionally remains at the country home whilst the family are in London.

This role includes substantial chauffeuring duties, such as driving the family from London to Wiltshire and back, ideally both candidates will have full UK drivers’ licenses.

Duties included but not limited to:

Housekeeping:

• Traditional housekeeping duties through the 6-bedroom home, such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and polishing.
• Ensuring the house is ready for the family’s arrival.
• Family laundry, such as washing, ironing and bed linens.
• Cooking family style meals whilst the family are in residence.
• Cooking for informal family dinner parties, up to 15 guests.
• Serving guests, assisting with drinks.
• Running errands, such as grocery shopping.
• The same when in London, although it should be noted the family have a weekday housekeeper for their London home.

Chauffer/handyman:

• Driving to and from London.
• General maintenance and repairs around both properties.
• Preparation and supply of fire logs.
• Dog care, such as walking, feeding and occasional dog sitting when the family are away on holiday.
• Assisting with dinner parties, serving drinks.
• Creating a service schedule for cars, boilers etc.
• Liaising with contractors when required.
