Experienced Travelling Private Chef – Start ASAP

We are currently seeking an experienced, hard – working private chef with proven longevity in previous roles for an UHNW family based in central London.

The client also has a residence in The Cotswolds and travels internationally extensively (approximately 6 months of the year), therefore you will be required to travel with the family to their multiple properties and will be expected to provide consistent high standards throughout. Where possible, the client will always endeavour to give adequate notice of travel.

Within the position you will be responsible for all food shopping, menu planning and meal prep, all whilst being exceptionally organised, and ensuring that high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are always adhered to. You will be expected to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2 – 5 people on a daily basis, and there will also be occasional dinner parties and gatherings that you will be required to prepare for. You will need to be flexible to work longer hours where required.

When the principal is in London, the role will be live-out, however accommodation will be provided when you are travelling with the family.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a private chef for VIP/ UHNW clients and must have knowledge of healthy nutritional cooking.

Duties included but not exclusive too:

• Menu planning in line with dietary requirements and the principals’ preferences
• Preparing beautifully presented and delicious meals with accordance to the Principal’s tastes
• Preparing and storing meals for next-day use
• Sourcing high quality, and where possible locally sourced, ingredients
• Maintaining hygiene standards to the highest level
• Food quality control
• Liaising with the Principal on event details when required
• Occasionally serving meals in a more formal setting when the family are entertaining

Due to the nature of travel in the role, successful candidates will need to have a passport with over 6 months until it expires.

• Annual Leave: 20 days plus UK bank holidays (day in lieu granted if a UK bank holiday is worked)
• Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 gross per annum DOE
