A lovely couple are on the hunt for an independent and proactive Domestic Couple to look after their gorgeous Estate in Hampshire.
The couple’s children come and visit occasionally, however most of the time it is just the couple in the household.
The duties and responsibilities include but aren’t exclusive to:
- Traditional Housekeeping such as vaccuming, dusting, mopping, wiping surfaces, deep cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms, wiping surfaces and general tidying of the home
- Looking after antiques
- All laundry and ironing, changing bed linen
- Pet care such as walking and feeding the dogs
- Grocery shopping, posting parcels and running other errands
- Cooking traditional meals when needed
- Driving the family members to the station or airport, looking after the cars, i.e. washing them and filling them up with fuel
- Garden maintenance and mowing the lawns
- Basic household maintenance and DIY
Other staff on the property are a cleaner and a gardener. All liaison will be done via the family’s PA, therefore good communicators are vital.
Accommodation provided is a separate, one bedroom space. It is preferable for the couple to have their own car. One candidate within the couple will need to be happy to drive the principals as requested.
Days/hours is Monday to Friday, 45-50 hours a week with occasional weekend work which will be agreed in advance.
The ideal couple will have 5+ years of working as a Domestic Couple in a similar setting, be discrete and a have a willing attitude to muck in wherever necessary.
