We are on the hunt for a proactive nanny/housekeeper to join a gorgeous family of 5 based in St Johns Wood, London.
The children are 8, 5 and 3, therefore they will be at school and nursery during the day. Whist they are absent, the applicant will be required to maintain a tidy and organised home environment for the family.
Please see a list of typical duties the nanny/housekeeper will be expected to carry out on a daily basis:
- Picking up the children from school and nursery
- Supervising homework and reading
- Engaging in games
- Cooking a healthy and well-balanced dinner for the family
- Pre-empting household tasks
- Organising the children’s belongings, such as putting away toys and packing their school bags appropriately for the following day
- Pet care
The ideal applicant will be confident, engaging and highly organised. It is vital that the candidate can take initiative and be independent with their responsibilities.
A driver is preferred (but not mandatory), however the client can provide a car. Furthermore, the role offers a private bedroom with a shared bathroom with the children if the applicant wishes to live in, however this is optional.
Finally, the client does have part time housekeeper who comes to the house twice a week to clean the property so it will be up to the nanny/housekeeper to keep the home in suitable condition outside of these days and manage the part time housekeeper accordingly.
The days and hours of the role are Monday to Friday, 11am/12pm – 7:30pm. A Saturday morning may be occasionally required.
