An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper to take sole responsibility for the interior management of a prestigious private family estate in South West England.

Overview
Working alongside the Groundsman/Maintenance professional, you will ensure the main residence and additional properties are maintained to impeccable standards while providing seamless support to the family. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, anticipates needs without being asked and thrives in a high-standard private household.
The successful candidate will accompany the family to their summer residence in Greece for up to 3–4 weeks each year.
Duties include, but are not limited to
- Maintaining the main house and additional cottages to an exceptional standard
- Full housekeeping, laundry, ironing, linen and wardrobe management
- Caring for fine art, antiques, silverware, china and specialist finishes
- Preparing breakfast and assisting with lunch and dinner as required
- Confidently cooking a variety of British and international cuisine
- Managing food shopping, household supplies and online orders
- Assisting with entertaining, table setting and food service
- Greeting and hosting guests
- Organising and managing the wine cellar, pantry and household stock
- Liaising with contractors, tradespeople and deliveries
- Managing household systems including heating, security, CCTV, fire and media systems
- Monitoring household technology including Wi-Fi, printers and entertainment systems
- Maintaining a comprehensive household manual, including passwords and operating guides
- Running errands and occasional driving duties
- Supporting the overall smooth running of the household
