Permanent Assistant Chef for a prestigious auction house in Central London. Start ASAP

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Chef to join a very high-end in-house catering team, for a prestigious auction house.

Day to day you will be working closely with the head chef and Sous Chef to prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals to approximately 200 staff members each week.  The role involves hands-on-food preparation, as well as contributing to weekly menu planning, allergen documentation, and weekly costings.

Attributes required for this role:

  • Experience in high-end or fine dining environments
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen regulations, ensuring you comply with Natasha’s Law
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills to meet strict service schedule
  • A team orientated individual who is extremely calm and polite even in pressured situations
  • A genuine passion for creating delicious homemade food to the highest of standards
