Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced, reliable and flexible Live-In Housekeeper / Cook to look after their private residence in Paris.
The household consists of a principal, a toddler and two small dogs. The family expects to spend approximately six months of the year in Paris, with periods away throughout the year.
When the family is in residence, the successful candidate will be responsible for daily housekeeping, preparing simple but beautifully presented meals, walking the dogs when required and ensuring the home runs smoothly. Flexibility will be important, particularly when the family is entertaining or hosting dinner parties.
When the family is away, the role will focus on maintaining the property, accepting deliveries, overseeing contractors and ensuring that any maintenance work is completed. Working hours will be more flexible during these periods, typically around 10am–4pm, provided all responsibilities are fulfilled.
The family is looking for someone trustworthy, proactive and highly organised who can take ownership of the property and work independently. A handover and training period of approximately 7–10 days will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is confident with the household’s routines and expectations.
