Overview
A warm and welcoming family with three school-aged children, based in High Street Kensington, is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join their household team in the care of their 5 storey home.
Working alongside a daily housekeeper, live in Housekeeper/cook as well as a Nanny and a PA. You will work in tandem mostly with the other housekeeper taking care of all the cleaning, laundry and ironing for the family.
The family are looking for someone organised, flexible and discreet, who enjoys working as part of a professional household team and is happy to muck in wherever required.
Working Schedule
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 11.30pm to 8.30pm
- Thursday to Saturday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Traditional housekeeping duties such as, hoovering, dusting, mopping throughout the home
- Laundry, ironing and specialist care of cashmere and delicate garments
- Changing and maintaining bed linens
- Running errands, such as trips to the dry cleaners
- Maintaining the home to an immaculate standard
- Working closely with another Housekeeper and other staff
Key Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar role within a private household
- Ability to work in a team
- Proven longevity and commitment in previous positions
- Strong spoken English and excellent communication skills
