Our client is looking for a Housekeeper/ Cook to join their team, helping to keep the house running smoothly with meticulous attention to detail.

- Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 (salary negotiable if candidate lives locally)
Overview
This is a traditional housekeeper/cook role where you will be responsible for housekeeping and cooking duties, mostly breakfast and some lunches, alongside another housekeeper/cook who works the late shift.
The client is looking for a very experienced Housekeeper/cook who is confident working without instruction but also well in a team, there is another housekeeper/ cook who will be working alongside you on a later shift pattern.
The family live in a large six-bedroom property and are expecting a baby later this year. You will be required to maintain the property to a very high standard, ensuring excellent levels of cleanliness throughout.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Cleaning, laundry and ironing on a regular schedule
- Assisting with household organisation and maintaining high presentation standards
- Cooking lunch and supper for the principal and occasionally guests (simple home style cooking)
- Scheduling and carrying out regular deep cleaning of the property
- Working closely with HouseManager and other staff (incl. Nanny & Maternity nurse once baby is born)
- Occasional care of the family dogs.

Key Criteria
- Previous experience working within a private household in a similar role
- Longevity in roles
- Strong spoken English and excellent communication skills
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
