We are looking for a private chef to cater for a lovely family over the Christmas and New Year period. Your main responsibilities will include preparing two meals daily for approximately three family members and occasionally members of staff. Additionally, you may be catering for occasional dinner parties and extra guests, these specific details will be finalised nearer the time.
Day-to-day, the client prefers nutritious, healthy-style meals. From December 24th to 26th, you will be catering for up to 16 guests, with slightly more sophisticated menus which include canapes. On Christmas day, the client has requested a traditional turkey roast with all the trimmings. Your responsibilities will include both menu planning and shopping. Suitable shops are located about 15 minutes away, so driving is essential for this role.
The client is looking for a friendly, tidy chef who is a general pleasure to have around. The ideal candidate would live locally, however there is also the option for accommodation if this is not the case.
