We are seeking a private chef to cater for a group of 17 people, including 6 children, for one week over Christmas.
Day-to-day, you will be preparing a relaxed family style lunch and a more formal 3 course-dinner each evening. The children will eat earlier, this can be a simplified version of the main menu. On Christmas day, the client would like a traditional turkey roast with all the trimmings followed by a light supper in the evening.
You will be responsible for both menu planning and shopping, with the opportunity to coordinate with the client closer to the time. Although this is a sole chef position, the family are happy to assist with washing up etc. The client is looking for a chatty, friendly chef who is a general pleasure to have around.
