Live-Out Housekeeper Required in Kent – January 2026 Start

Our client is looking for a live out hard working Housekeeper to join their busy countryside home.

Highlights:

• Start: End of January 2026  
• Location: West Malling, Kent
• Working Hours: 5 days on / 2 days off on rotation, with flexibility to work weekends
• Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 gross per annum

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced housekeeper to join a dynamic family in a beautiful 11-bedroom country home. The ideal candidate must have proven experience within a private household and have exceptional attention to detail.

The family has two dogs, so a genuine fondness for animals is important. This is a lively household with two older children still living at home. Due to the location of the household a driver with their own car within a commutable distance to the property is essential.

Duties included but not limited to:

• All traditional housekeeping duties such as, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming throughout the house
• Laundry management, including washing and ironing of clothes and bed linens
• Changing and refreshing bed linens and towels regularly
• Running errands, such as grocery shopping and trips to the dry cleaners
• Keeping on top of household inventories and organising cupboards and pantries
• Occasional pet care
• Dealing with contractors and receiving parcels

Key criteria:

• UK drivers license  
• Proven experience in a private household with checkable references
