Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and capable Housekeeper/Cook to join their family home in Oxshott. The successful candidate will be responsible for cooking for the family, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, including cleaning all kitchen appliances regularly. If time permits, some help with family ironing would be appreciated. A cleaner is employed for deep cleaning in the remainder of the house.
The household is busy, so flexibility and a can-do attitude are essential. The family occasionally host dinner parties for up to ten guests, a chef will be employed but general assistance will be needed.
The family have five dogs, so candidates must be confident and comfortable around animals. A driving license is not required but is a bonus, especially for grocery shopping.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, including ovens, fridges, and appliances
- Family cooking, including meal preparation and batch cooking
- Assisting with grocery shopping and stock management
- Some ironing, time permitting.
Key criteria
- Previous experience in private households as a Housekeeper/Cook
- Strong cooking skills
- Dog friendly
- Driving licence is a bonus
