Live-Out Housekeeper Needed in Kensington- ASAP Start

Our client is searching for an experienced and flexible live-out Housekeeper to join a private residence in Kensington. The household consists of two adults and two grown-up children who are at university.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday,  40 hours per week. (8:00am – 7.00pm with a 2/3-hour afternoon break when the clients are in residence.) 
• Salary: £45,000- £47,000 gross per annum

Overview
Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive Housekeeper to manage all aspects of housekeeping and daily organisation within a 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom residence in Kensington. The ideal candidate will be discreet, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the needs of the principals.

This is a sole housekeeping role, so a high level of self-motivation and initiative is required. The clients divide their time between London and their home in Ascot, and travel frequently, so the Housekeeper should be comfortable adapting working routines depending on their schedule. When the family are in residence you will be required to work 8am to 7pm, with a 2/3 hour break in the afternoon. When the family are not in residence you can dictate which 8 hours you work each day. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the home to immaculate standards, managing household supplies, and preparing simple, healthy meals when the clients are in town. A love of animals is essential, as pet care and dog walking are part of the role.

Duties included but not limited to:

• Laundry, ironing, cleaning, and general organisation
• Anticipating the household’s needs and maintaining stock levels of essentials and groceries
• Light cooking- preparing simple breakfasts and healthy lunches and dinners when the family are in residence
• Flower arranging when necessary
• Walking the family dog(s) when needed
• Ensuring the home runs smoothly when the family is travelling

Key criteria:

• Confident working independently and managing household routines
• Competent cook with a focus on simple, healthy meals
• Must love animals and enjoy dog walking
