We are seeking an experienced housekeeper to join an existing team to work in Central London.
Highlights:
- Start: ASAP
- Location: Central London
- Working Hours: 5 days on/2 days off on rotation (flexibility to work weekends)
- Salary: up to £55,000 gross per annum
Overview:
This is a live out housekeeper role in a large and busy private residence. This role requires someone who is exceptionally organised, meticulous in their work, and able to anticipate the needs of the household with discretion and efficiency. A key aspect of the position involves expert-level wardrobe management and garment care, including dealing with delicate or designer clothing, seasonal rotation of the wardrobe, packing and unpacking for travel, and ensuring garments are cleaned, stored, and presented to the highest of standards.
In addition to wardrobe management, the housekeeper will be responsible for the immaculate presentation and day-to-day upkeep of the home’s interiors. This includes deep cleaning, care of fine furnishings and finishes, and maintaining a polished, well-ordered environment throughout.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, as the family travels frequently. This may necessitate occasional late finishes, or adjustments to the usual working hours to accommodate the household’s needs.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Traditional housekeeping duties throughout the house
- Mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces
- Laundry and ironing/steaming/pressing of clothes
- Wardrobe management, including strong knowledge of specialist fabrics including silk and cashmere
- Packing and unpacking for travel

- Proven experience in a similar private household
