A client of ours is looking for a professional Housekeeper to provide maternity cover for one of their current housekeeping staff members.
The duties and responsibilities include but aren’t exclusive to:
- Deep cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms
- Making beds and changing linens
- Cleaning windows inside and cleaning mirrors
- Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
- Cutlery polishing
- Sorting, washing, loading and unloading laundry and ironing
- Managing the Dry-Cleaning arrangements
- Replenishing stock and dealing with contractors
- Emptying waste/recycling daily
- Steaming and cleaning draperies
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements if need it
- Greeting guests, refreshments preparation ahead of meetings
- Running errands for the principal of the house
- Managing the in-coming of various packages
- Occasional service or breakfast preparation
The candidate will work alongside two other housekeepers, so it is paramount that you are a team player. There is also a chance that the role will turn permanent for the right candidate.
The hours will be based on a rota system that looks like the below.
6:30am – 3:30pm (6-3 sometimes)
8am – 5pm
11am – 8pm
Finally, in order to apply for this position, the candidate needs to be discreet, happy to work early mornings and comfortable around dogs.
