Diligent Housekeeper based in South Kensington – Start ASAP

A HNW French-speaking family has begun their search for a full-time housekeeper to join their busy household in South Kensington.

The housekeeper will be required to carry out the below duties:

• Traditional housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, wiping surfaces
• Laundry and ironing, dealing with delicates
• Caring for antiques, including silver polishing
• Dinner party service
• Household stock checks
• Dealing with contractors
• Liaising with the Head Housekeeper

The days/hours required are Wednesday – Sunday with an 8am start on weekdays and a 9am start on weekends. You will finish between 7pm-9pm with a generous break within the day and all meals provided during your five-day week.

If required, accommodation provided is a separate 2-bedroom flat next to the house should you wish to live in. This is shared with the private chef when they are working late (usually only 2 days per week). Otherwise, it can also be a live-out position.

The ideal candidate will be loyal, discrete and a dedicated individual who has meticulous attention to detail. You will need to be a good communicator.
