A young family are seeking the support of an highly qualified and diligent Housekeeper for their central London abode. You will be expected to travel with the family from time to time throughout the year to their other global residences for no more than 2 weeks at a time.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Traditional housekeeping duties including thorough cleaning of the bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas on a daily basis
- Full laundry services, including all bedding, high-end garments, care of delicates including wools and cashmere, as well as ironing
- Experience with the care of bespoke furnishings and surfaces
- Some ad-hoc childcare support
- Running errands, including grocery shopping, dry cleaners, post office, picking up prescriptions
- Managing the upkeep of the internal property, including basic maintenance tasks around the house
- Taking in deliveries, and being a key holder for third-party contractors
- Managing all household stocks and supplies
Someone comfortable and confident with young children and small dogs/cats is essential as you may from time to time be required to house-sit including pet-care such as feeding the pets and administering medication when required.
You would be required to work 5-6 days for between 40-45 hours per week (with flexibility).
You must have experience working in high-end properties with at least 5+ bedrooms. The successful candidate will be extremely detail orientated, organised and understand the importance of discretion.
A driving license is preferred but not essential.
