Live in Nanny- Zurich, Switzerland + Extensive travel - ASAP start

This busy young family is looking for two nannies to create a team to provide 7 day cover assisting with the care of their 14 month old alongside Mum.

Overview

This busy household is looking for two nannies to create a team with Mum to care for their daughter aged 14 months.  Mum has a busy schedule but tries to put time aside each day for one on one time withe little one, you should therefore be happy working in a collaborative way with her and the other nanny. 

Both nannies will work 5 days per week, with three of these days overlapping each week. When working overlapping days you will either work an early shift or a late shift. On the days when you’re the only nanny on duty you will be required to work a 12 hour day from 7am to 7pm, and then shorter days on the overlapping days, totalling 50 hours per week. 

The family travel extensively throughout the year, spending up to 8 weeks away at a time. During these periods of travel the working schedule will change as only one nanny will travel with them at a time, and may work for up to 3 weeks before swapping out with the other nanny. Days off will be given during periods of travel, but may only be 1 day per week. 

The family are looking for nannies who can provide a fun filled environment for the little one with a focus on learning through play. The family do not want the little one to have any screen time and instead would prefer her reading books, exploring her surroundings and enjoying the “simple life”. 

Duties included but not limited to:

• Cooking healthy nutritious meals for the child
• Working collaboratively with Mum and the other nanny to create a fun filled, educationally focused schedule for the little one
• Keeping her areas to a high standard
• Rotating out toys, keeping play areas interesting and engaging
• Occasional nursery duties when the housekeeper is unavailable
• Maintaining the little ones routine and helping to develop this as she grows older.

Key criteria

• Longevity in roles with children of a similar age
• Ideally a Montessori Certificate or Early Years Degree
