A large private family based in Monaco are looking to hire an energetic and experienced Butler.
It is important that the candidate is fully up to speed with the running of the property to ensure the smooth running of the household and that guest and resident visits are seamless.
The responsibilities of the role include but aren’t exclusive too:
- High standard of service to the families and their guests whenever they are in residence
- Preparing the home for the client’s arrival, including liaising with the housekeepers and other staff to ensure the home is ready
- Travelling with the family when required
- Inventory management
- Helping with deliveries and/or arranging collections
- Booking and assisting with travel i.e. carrying luggage for the family
- Ability to coordinate maintenance projects including window and carpet cleaning, whilst building strong relationships with preferred suppliers
- A range of service experience; Butler, Silver, Tray, Bar, Cellar management of fine wine/spirits
- Experience of caring for silver, china, glassware, antiques and other specialist items
The client is looking for an applicant who is detail oriented, flexible with their responsibilities, and can lend themselves to assisting and leading any part of the household team. Whilst the client has chauffeurs, an applicant who can drive is a bonus.
This role is 5 days a week with Mondays and Tuesdays off, 9 hours a day starting around mid-day.
The ideal candidate will have proven relevant experience including front of house service, meeting, greeting and looking after guests as well as being confident in leadership and meticulous with their organisation.
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a European Passport and speak fluent French and English.
