Rota nanny - 4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off - Doha, Qatar - May 2025

Our long established client is looking for a nanny/ governess to care for their daughters, twins aged 7 and a 9 year old.

• Working Hours: 4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off.24/7 call but core hours are 11:30am-8pm during the week and 7am-7pm on weekends
• Salary: £54000 per annum, paid in 12 instalments + overtime – (at least 20 days per year). Qatari contract

Overview

You will be responsible for helping the girls with their homework, liaising with French tutors who will be on site in the afternoon, overseeing school runs and taking care of the children’s nursery duties such as laundry and ironing, clearing the table after meals, and making them snacks (both at home and at the grandparent’s house), planning activities and outings and occasionally helping with the bedtime routine.

The family travels during all school holidays and during these periods you’ll take on more of a nanny role – getting the children up in the morning, sorting out meals, planning activities and outings etc.

You will be on 24/7 call when on duty, but your core working hours will likely be 11:30am to 8pm during the week (unless the children are ill, at which point the working hours will be the same as the weekend) and 7am-7pm on weekends. During periods of travel you will work on a 24/7 on call basis, although there will be opportunities to have breaks. The family will have both rota nannies on duty for the summer travel period (about 6 weeks).

4 week on /4 week off rotation.

Benefits

• Accommodation is a self-contained area in the family home from late 2025 , but will be a flat nearby until then.
• The family will cover airfare when finishing and starting each shift.

Key criteria

• Experience with school aged children
• Able to trial between now and May 2025
• Ability to travel at short notice without needing visas
• C2 Level spoken & written English
