An existing client of ours is on the hunt for an experienced and switched on Estate Manager to manage their homes in Europe.
The client has multiple properties based in Sweden and Europe. Majority of the position will focus on their homes in Sweden (c.90%); however, it is also the responsibility of the Estate Manager to care for their properties elsewhere too. Travel between the properties is required.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Staff Management: organising rotas, payroll, recruitment and training (fully staffed household)
- House Maintenance: overseeing maintenance and upkeep of the property, calling contractors, managing renovations/repairs
- Household Budget: create and manage budgets for each property, track expenses and pay household bills
- Event Management: coordinating events and parties, overseeing the property is always presentable and ready for use by owners and their guests
- Security: monitoring the property and overseeing all security
- Communication: liaise between the client and external parties, handling special requests or errand for the client, sourcing items
- House Management: monitor inventories, supplies and stock
The ideal candidate will be super professional, discrete and formal. An English speaker is required and a Swedish speaker or someone whom has worked in Scandinavia before is a bonus.
Accommodation offered is a separate self-contained apartment within the staff quarters.
