2x Live In/Live Out Housekeepers Wanted Near Ascot – Start ASAP

We are on the hunt for 2 housekeepers to join a very large estate near Ascot.

Both housekeepers will work together on a rota system under the supervision of the Head Housekeeper to ensure the property is spotless and kept to 5* standards at all times.

You will be working alongside 10 other members of staff, therefore the ideal candidate will be a good team player and have a muck in and positive attitude.

Please see a list of duties below:

• Having a good knowledge of the cleaning of marble, fine fabrics and different woods
• Dusting of surfaces
• Watering of plants

• Emptying of bins
• Carrying out turndowns on the evening rota
• Assisting the Butlers with polishing of silver when required
• Sweeping of any balconies to ensure that no leaves or debris collect there
• Holding an excellent knowledge of fine fabrics and how to care for them
• Stock check and informing the Head Housekeeper of what supplies are needed
• Able to carry out basic sewing and mending
• Assisting the Head Housekeeper with the inventory from the dry cleaners
• Ensuring the laundry room is maintained to the highest standards
• Creating systems for the storage of the linen
• Washing and ironing of all bed linen, table linen and towels, unless sent out to the dry cleaners
• Wardrobe management and packing and unpacking of suitcases, maintaining any systems that are already in place, such as the season change of wardrobes – folding, packing away and storing correctly

• Have 5 years worth of references that we can verbally verify
• Be comfortable to get an enhanced DBS (this will be paid for/organised by the client)
• Be comfortable to work within a big team and take direction
• Be comfortable with flexible working hours and inconsistent shift patterns

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 gross per annum (DOE) + yearly pay review
