A gorgeous family of 4 are on the hunt for a friendly and hardworking housekeeper/cook to join their large home in Dorset.
The home consists of 12 bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen, multiple reception rooms, and a dining room.
The housekeeper will be required to ensure that the house is clean and tidy at all times, by cleaning, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing silver, and sanitising surfaces.
The housekeeper will be assisted by two other part-time cleaners, therefore cleaning is a shared responsibility and you will be required to manage and delegate the cleaning team.
The client sends out their bed linen, however the candidate will be in charge of changing sheets and making beds, whilst also looking after the family’s laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, polishing shoes and caring for delicates.
In regards to the cooking, the family are big food lovers and often entertain guests with dinner parties, therefore the housekeeper will be required to cater for these as well as cooking for the family when required.
The days and hours of the role are Thursday to Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. A typical day will be 7am to 5pm, however should they have a dinner party then the housekeeper will have longer breaks during the day and finish at around 8pm.
The family are offering a separate flat in the main house which has one large double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, friendly individual who has a positive and hardworking approach.
