A lovely family of 4 is looking for a hands on and organised nanny/housekeeper to assist them in their busy home in Jersey.
The family consists of two teenage children, so the candidate must be good adopting a consistent, calm, communicative firm but fair approach. It is crucial that the candidate can offer guidance and support, rather than “nanny” the twins.
The candidate will be working closely with the female principle, Monday to Friday, however this will be subject to change whilst the client is away working and travelling. Whilst the candidate is required to be there from 7am – 7pm, the female principle is generous with breaks and is an advocate for personal autonomy whilst the children are at school.
Duties included but not exclusive to:
- Traditional housekeeping duties such as laundry, ironing, and deep cleaning
- Overseeing the children
- Getting the twins up and take them to school at 7:30am
- Taking the twins to and from school activities
- Cooking supper for the twins
- Walking the small dog in the afternoon
The ideal candidate needs to be flexible, an animal lover and have initiative with regards to their managing their days and priority duties.
A car is provided for both work and personal use.

Accommodation: Separate extension of the main house with bedroom, bathroom, and separate downstairs but with a shared entrance and kitchen
Hours: 7am-7pm Monday to Friday
Driver: Yes, essential
Rate: £650 – £750 net per week
