Spanish Speaking Companion/Carer - Aventura, Miami - ASAP

This family is looking for a residential nanny/companion to look after their 15 year old daughter with additional needs. 

She has a global developmental delay, so you’ll be responsible for taking her to therapy sessions, supporting her with therapy at home, encouraging her to learn basic life skills. 

There is no physical support needed- she is a gentle girl, but she needs constant supervision. 

Core working hours are Saturday & Sunday 9am-6pm. During the week, you’ll be responsible for doing the school run in the morning, picking her up from school at midday and taking her to therapy, then picking her up from therapy at 5pm and doing the evening routine with her. You’ll have two days off midweek. 

During the school holidays- you are likely to be needed to work 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday. 

Accommodation consists of a bedroom and bathroom in the home. 

Mum occasionally travels for work, at which point you’ll be on 24 hour duty. She may travel with Mum, and they will want you to join on these trips. 

There are other siblings in the house, but they are self sufficient. 

The family has a dog.
