We are on the hunt for highly competent Domestic Couple to work for a second family residence in in Oxfordshire.
The family home is occupied mainly during the weekends so the couple will be expected to work Thursday to Monday each week, working approximately 40 hours per week.
The duties will include but not be limited to:
- Traditional Housekeeper duties such as laundry, ironing, cleaning, making beds, polishing and vacuuming
- Driving the family
- Household maintenance/handy man duties
- Gardening as well as managing external gardeners that visit the property once a week
- Preparing the property for the family’s arrival
- Cooking 3 meals a day when the family are in residence
- Managing contractors
- Running household errands
- Hosting the family and their guests including meeting and greeting guests, front of house service, laying tables and meal preparation
- Any necessary household admin
- Providing a comprehensive weekly update for the principals
There is a lovely 2 bedroom cottage provided for the couple on the grounds with bills also covered by the client. The client will also provide a car however, this should only be used during working hours.
The ideal candidates will be trustworthy, have a can do attitude and willing to be flexible wherever needed to ensure the families’ needs are met to the highest of standards.
