We are on the hunt for a superb housekeeper with some house management experience looking for the next step up in their career.
The couple are based between the Middle East and the UK and spend about 30% of their time living in both London and Hampshire. The property the housekeeper/house manager will be managing is a recently refurbished 4-bedroom thatched cottage with a swimming pool and large gardens.
It will be down to the housekeeper/house manager to ensure they maintain the daily running’s and maintenance of the household whilst the couple are away and most importantly liaising with the PA to ensure the household is prepped and in the condition the client would expect on their arrival. Whilst the couple are not in residence, the housekeeper/house manager will be able to dictate their own hours and have autonomy over their duty’s day to day, however if the couple are residing in the home, the candidate will need to be willing to be present and around as much and as long as the client requires.
The couple do not have children but do have two large dogs so the candidate will have to be comfortable with both walking and caring for large dogs as part of their role. There may also be a need for the candidate to prep light meals for the couple and run simple errands on their behalf.
In an ideal scenario, the candidate will be based in Hampshire so they can live between the client’s property and their own when the couple are not in the UK, but this is not essential.
The property is rather remote, so the candidate will need to be ale to drive and have their own car.
